1.  Suppose 3 cats catch 3 fish in 3 days. How many cats will catch 30 fish in 30 days
2.  David's dad's heartbeat is 60 per minute, and his mom's heartbeat is 85 per minute. How many more heartbeats will David's mom have than his dad in a hour?
3.  What is the largest possible remainder of (X ÷ 9) ? (X is a whole number).
4.  A farmer has ducks, geese, and hens. He feeds them with a certain amount bird food every day. A duck eats twice as much as a hen and a goose eats 3 times as much as a hen. Half of the food is fed to 5 ducks and 4 geese, and another half is fed to hens. How many hens does the farmer have?
5.  There were a total of 24 beads. Emily divided them into 2 equal piles, and then sold one pile on the first day. On the second day, she again divided the remaining beads into 2 equal piles, and then sold one pile. On the third day, she again divided the remaining beads into 2 equal piles, and then sold one pile. How many beads are left after the third day?
